2019 NFL Mock Draft: Nick Bosa heads to Raiders, Dwayne Haskins to Redskins

2. Arizona Cardinals: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
They upset the Green Bay Packers which led to the firing of Mike McCarthy, but that may be the only reason to remember anything about the 2018 season for the Arizona Cardinals. They had much higher hopes after being a competitive team the past several seasons under Bruce Arians, but things fell apart when he left.
Steve Wilks came in to replace him, and they also had to replace Carson Palmer who followed Arians into retirement. The former No. 1 pick of the Cincinnati Bengals was replaced this year by the former No. 1 pick of the St. Louis Rams, Sam Bradford. He didn’t last long though as his ineffectiveness and health issues lingered.
Arizona ended up cutting bait and turned things over to rookie Josh Rosen, who has also struggled. Not all is on him as his supporting cast has been subpar, to say the least. In order to get an accurate gauge on whether or not he’s the right guy going forward, they need to address the issues around him — starting with the offensive line.
In an effort to keep Rosen upright, the Cardinals land Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams. He’s positioned himself as one of the better pass blockers entering the league and finds himself one of the first names to come off the board. The Cardinals still need receivers, but the first step is making sure Rosen has time to deliver the ball.
