The Chicago Bears face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16 of the 2018 NFL Season. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

When the season began, the San Francisco 49ers were supposed to be contenders and the Chicago Bears were supposed to be a team in line for a top-5 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Now as we enter Week 16, the roles have completely reversed.

That was proven true when the Oakland Raiders turned down a trade offer for Khalil Mack from the 49ers and instead traded him to the Bears. They believed Chicago would give them better draft compensation, but that’s not the case.

Entering this game, the Bears are the No. 3 team in the NFC and if the Rams keep struggling, they could find a way to move into the second spot. Led by Mack and a strong defense around him, the Bears are built for December football.

As for the 49ers, they’ve had to make do with backup quarterbacks since Jimmy Garoppolo tore his ACL early in the season. They’ve been a fun story since Nick Mullens emerged from nowhere, but at 4-10, they only have pride left to play for at this point.

This is the second season in a row where the Niners are just trying to get through the season. They did win five-straight in 2017, but that ended up putting them at 6-10. Head coach Matt Nagy and the Bears have much more on the line as they hope to leapfrog L.A. and get a bye week in the playoffs.
