Miami Dolphins (7-8) at Buffalo Bills (5-10)

Sunday, December 30, 1PM ET

Sorry. If you’re a fan of either of these teams, this one doesn’t mean much. Both of these teams have officially been eliminated from playoff contention, so we’ll only see pride, stats and draft positioning being played for between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

Honestly, I find it kind of funny to think that I actually saw the Dolphins as a legitimate playoff contender earlier in the year. They’ve one of the worst 7-8 teams I’ve seen in years, with many of their wins this season either coming against subpar competition or as a result of pure luck.

Sure, they’ve won a couple of quality games. Then again, so have the Bills. Especially with Josh Allen under center, they’ve actually managed to stay fairly competitive for a team with their record. On Sunday, we’ll see more of why Buffalo can’t be completely written off as we move past 2018 and into 2019.

Regardless, what we’re concerned about is this game. And my belief is that the Bills defense will do more than enough to win this game, creating a number of turnovers and making life miserable for Ryan Tannehill for all four quarters.

Prediction: Bills win 26-16
