9. Jacksonville Jaguars: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

With one quarterback off the board, the Jacksonville Jaguars come up on the clock and they have made it clear that they intend to address the position as well in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Blake Bortles era is all but over and they now need a player at the position who won’t hold them back in the way that Bortles did — and hopefully not bust as Bortles did as well.

There are still questions about whether Justin Herbert will declare for the 2019 draft or not, but for the purpose of this mock draft, he does and the Jaguars nab him. While Herbert has been prone to inconsistency, he has great physical tools and athleticism that project to him developing into a viable NFL starting quarterback, something that hasn’t been present in Jacksonville in a long, long time.

10. Atlanta Falcons: Jachai Polite, EDGE, Florida

The 2018 season has been one to forget for the Atlanta Falcons, marred by both injuries and another year suffering with Steve Sarkisian as the offensive coordinator. The offense remains immensely talented and, outside of potentially addressing the interior of the offensive line, they should be largely set. They, however, do need to add more depth and high-end talent on their defensive front.

Jachai Polite is another riser for this 2019 draft class. While some may call him slight-framed, his explosiveness and arsenal of speed moves off the edge make him a menace as a pass rusher. With the likes of Vic Beasley lacking in the Falcons defense, Polite could give the Atlanta pass rush a shot in the arm and help them get back to form next season.
