13. Cincinnati Bengals: Devin White, LB, LSU

Another LSU product is coming off the board after Greedy Williams and this time it’s linebacker Devin White. White is far from a perfect prospect in this class, but he’s the top linebacker in 2019 — especially with all indications showing that Mack Wilson will be returning to Alabama for another year. And he’s the perfect guy for the Cincinnati Bengals, who desperately need to add youth and athleticism in the middle of their defense.

White is a physical freak with unreal speed from sideline-to-sideline and has also proven to be a sure tackler in the open field. Where he struggles is with discipline and angles. But with NFL coaching and film study, that can be corrected and, with what he brings to the table physically, he can be a stud from this class.

14. Green Bay Packers: Deionte Thompson, FS, Alabama

The Green Bay Packers will have a new head coach in the 2018 season and, no matter who they bring in to fill the shoes of Mike McCarthy, they’ll need to address some holes on the defense to make their lives easier. While they brought in talented young corners in last year’s draft, the back end of the secondary is lacking quite a bit and is something that they must address.

Deionte Thompson is far and away the best safety in the 2019 NFL Draft class. The Alabama product has been as good as you could hope, displaying impressive coverage skills while also proving to be a willing and effective contributor in run defense. He’s solidly built, but with great athleticism as well and could revitalize the Packers secondary in a big way.
