David Moore will have a field day

For those of you who are unaware of who Moore is, he’s a wide receiver who was taken with the 226th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Seahawks. He’s currently the third receiver on the team’s depth chart and has the third most receiving yards on the team with 429. Only Tyler Lockett, 899 receiving yards, and Doug Baldwin, 591 receiving yards, are ahead of him.

Moore saw extended action this year while Baldwin was ailing from various injuries. He’s done a pretty good job, as shown by his 24 receptions, 429 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns. He’s only had two receptions for 16 yards in the last four weeks though. The only worse stretch he had this season was during the first three weeks when he didn’t record a single catch. With that being said, I expect Moore will return to relevancy this week.

Based on my first prediction, backups like Moore will see more action against the Cardinals. When he’s had the opportunities, Moore has had some really good performances this season. Back in Week 8, he caught all four passes that went his way for 97 yards and a touchdown.

He had an even better show in Week 12, catching four passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. He’s a bit of a home-run hitter, but I expect he’ll be targeted more than for just big plays this week.
