1. Arizona Cardinals: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

There are a lot of needs for the Arizona Cardinals, and it’s anyone’s guess which needs they will look to fill. What makes it such a crapshoot is the uncertainty at head coach. It was reported by Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic that Steve Wilks is likely to be fired after just one season.

Somers does say that general manager Steve Keim should get more time, which is still not a 100 percent certainty — and that’s because this roster is really bad. They hope that they at least have their quarterback in Josh Rosen, but outside of him, there’s very little talent on this team.

One player who is impressive is edge rusher Chandler Jones. After 17 sacks in 2017, Jones has come out with 12 more this season. It’s his fourth year in a row with double-digit sacks, but yet the Cards still add to a position of strength here with Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa. Why?

It’s simple, he’s the best player available. Much like when the Houston Texans took Jadeveon Clowney despite having J.J. Watt, this is a pick that’s all about adding the most elite player possible — and in doing so, they could build one of the most impressive defensive fronts in the NFL.
