8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

It’s becoming clear that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to make some wholesale changes to their entire team. Not only do they need to consider some moves on the sidelines with their coaching staff, but it’s starting to look like Jameis Winston isn’t the answer under center.

He started out leading them to just six wins as a rookie before going 9-7 in his sophomore campaign. However, he’s managed six wins since then as the Bucs were 3-10 in 2017 with Winston and just 3-5 this year. On top of his struggles to pull off wins, Winston has continued to make a lot of bad decisions off the field Z— which led to a three-game suspension to start this year.

Should they decide to pull the plug on head coach Dirk Koetter, changing the quarterback would make sense as well. With Dwayne Haskins off the board, the next man up in the signal-caller carousel is Drew Lock, the starting quarterback out of Missouri.

He was looking like the best prospect at one point before being leapfrogged by Justin Herbert and Haskins and can be a solid starter despite this being weaker than the normal QB class. During his career with the Tigers, Lock has 11,820 career passing yards along with 96 touchdowns against just 39 picks.
