Now that the playoffs are all set, we can look at five reasons the Dallas Cowboys are in a solid position to win Super Bowl 53

Halfway through the season, it appeared there was no hope for the Dallas Cowboys. They had just come off the bye week and made a trade for Amari Cooper, the receiver who was supposed to change their offense. However, it didn’t seem like he changed enough for them at first.

Dallas was embarrassed by the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football and fell to 3-5 on the season. The following week was a game against the Philadelphia Eagles where the expectation was they would be blown out and head coach Jason Garrett could be out the door.

Instead, Dallas turned things around and pulled off an improbable win. Cooper started to become the threat they envisioned and the Boys were 7-1 in the second half of the season and finished with a 10-6 record. They now enter the playoffs on the heels of an improbable comeback win that saw a 4th-and-15 conversion as well as a two-point attempt that sealed the one-point win over the New York Giants.
