The Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the 2019 NFL Playoffs, here are 5 X-Factors that could decide the outcome of the game

The Dallas Cowboys have a chance to change a narrative once again this Saturday. They already have worked on changing perception this season when they finished the year strong.

After being accused by Kamu Grugier-Hill of the Philadelphia Eagles of choking in December, Dallas then went out and defeated the Eagles and won the NFC East. While they had a bad game against the Indianapolis Colts, they did go 3-1 in December and 7-1 in the second half of the season.

Of course, that’s not enough for people to believe in the Cowboys come January. Head coach Jason Garrett will be entering his third playoff with the team and is just 1-2. Dallas hasn’t had a lot of success in the playoffs recently, and they’re going to need to make a run to change that narrative.

Their first chance to do that is Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks, who beat Dallas back in Week 3. However, both teams are vastly different since that game and this will be no easy contest.

For Seattle, they’re looking to prove that the offseason of noise and roster turnover won’t affect the win in tradition they have built. A slow start gave credence to those who believed their time as contenders was done, but the Seahawks put it back together and won 10 games on the strength of quarterback Russell Wilson.

These are two teams that mirror one another which makes the outcome impossible to predict. What we can predict is which players will ultimately decide the game, which is what we attempt to do here with five X-factors for Saturday night.
