The Dallas Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card playoffs on Saturday night, and there are some matchups which can determine the winner of this playoff game.

Both the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks are familiar with each other, as earlier in the season the Seahawks defeated the Cowboys 24-13 in a game which feels like it was ages ago. Since that game, the Seahawks lost Earl Thomas to a season-ending Achilles injury, and the Cowboys have added Amari Cooper to their roster with a mid-season trade.

Both of these two teams are different entering the NFC Wild Card playoff game than they were when they met back on Sept. 23, but both the Cowboys and Seahawks are solid teams as they prepare to play on Saturday night.

In the first game, Dak Prescott struggled with one touchdown pass and two interceptions, and in that game it was tight end Geoff Swaim who led the team with five receptions for 47 yards. That most likely won’t be the case in the playoff game as the receiving game is much improved since the teams’ last meeting.

For the Seahawks, Russell Wilson was held to under 200 yards passing in the previous game against the Cowboys, but also there were no interceptions to go with his two touchdown passes.

This is possibly the most intriguing game of the Wild Card playoffs as the Cowboys are just -2 point favorites in the game, so this game will be very interesting and most likely very competitive for the entire game.

Both teams have strong players on both offense and defense, with the Seahawks winning four of their past five games, while the Cowboys have also won four of their past five games and seven of their past eight games as well.

What matchups are going to be the most critical for both the Cowboys and Seahawks for their respective teams to gain the win? Here are 3 Critical matchups in Wild Card Round for this Saturday night.
