Round 4: Wyatt Ray, EDGE, Boston College

Despite key departures in terms of the Seahawks edge rushers heading into the 2018 season, they were still able to get solid production out of guys like Frank Clark and others on the edge. Even still, moving forward the Seattle defense needs a player that they can rotate and, hopefully, develop into a full-time complement to put across from Clark on the edge for the future of this unit.

There’s no question that Boston College senior Wyatt Ray has the potential to be that player. The 6-3, 250-pound edge rusher really broke out for the Eagles this season with 11.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks on the season. However, the consistency wasn’t there with performance or production. What is there, though, is the physical tools to be a force of an edge rusher in the NFL.

With the coaching in Seattle, he could be a stud sooner rather than later.

Round 5: Antoine Wesley, WR, Texas Tech

Though Texas Tech’s lack of success may have gotten Kliff Kingsbury fired, the man knew how to run an offense and that surely included getting Antoine Wesley involved. The junior wide receiver caught 88 balls for 1,410 yards and nine touchdowns on the season, proving to be the heart of the Red Raiders offense.

While the Seattle Seahawks have solid players the like of Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett, what they lack in their wide receiver corps is solid depth. A player like Wesley would help provide them just that, so landing him in the fifth round with their final pick of the 2019 NFL Draft would be a wise move by this team.
