18. Minnesota Vikings: David Edwards, OT, Wisconsin

The Minnesota Vikings may be one of the most disappointing teams of the 2018 NFL Season. After adding Kirk Cousins to a roster that won 13 games in 2017, they missed the playoffs and that had a lot to do with their inability to run a balanced offense.

Looking ahead, they need to fix things on that side of the ball and they think they made strides by firing play caller John DeFilippo. They could also do well to add some talent to their struggling offensive line, which they do with David Edwards. The Wisconsin tackle is known for his ability to stand out in the run game according to Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network.

Effective in head up blocks to run the feet and roll hips through contact, isn’t reliant on double teams to physically dominate. Looming frame offers a lot of reach as well, has long arms and the ability to extend and ride rushers beyond the peak of the pocket when tested in pass sets. While he does show up in this area, Edwards is no slouch in the passing game either. And the Vikings can definitely use help in both areas.
