20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Byron Murphy, CB, Washington

Nothing went right for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season and once again, they seem to be pointing the finger at the wrong person. Antonio Brown is reportedly on the trading block after a feud between him and Ben Roethlisberger — who is quickly becoming the most high-maintenance quarterback in the NFL.

As if him surprising the team with retirement talk wasn’t enough, he then went out and criticized the team for drafting a quarterback the past two seasons. The front office did nothing in response to him calling them out and that apparently entitled him enough that he spent this season calling out his teammates. He says he has earned that right, but doing so publicly isn’t cool and Brown had enough of it.

Still, the team seems to side with Roethlisberger and that’s only going to lead to him picking apart more of his teammates publicly when they lose. So maybe, their strategy will be to limit the losses by adding even more talent on defense as they look to rebuild the Steel-Curtain defense.

Their pick here is Washington cornerback Byron Murphy, who is the next solid coverage player to leave the Huskies program and become an early draft pick. Pittsburgh can use his help as coverage has become an issue for them in recent years and Joe Haden doesn’t have a lot of tread left on the tires.
