2019 NFL Mock Draft: Josh Allen rises in full 2-round mock

21. Seattle Seahawks: Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia
The Seattle Seahawks are clearly a different team on the road than they are at home. They were 10-6 during the regular season with just a 4-4 record on the road.
They once again had trouble traveling as they weren’t very consistent in the Wild Card Round on offense. In the end, they lost 24-22, but eight of those points came near the end when the game was all but decided.
What really stood out in the loss was their inability to protect Russell Wilson in key situations. He had to make several Super Man plays to keep them alive. While they could use help protecting him, they typically stay away from that for whatever reason. So, we move to another issue which was pass coverage.
Seattle was unable to make key stops when they really needed to and adding some help on the back end could lead to them being able to do so moving forward. Their selection to help in this area is DeAndre Baker out of Georgia. Baker has shown an ability to shadow receivers and can line up all over the field.
Seattle won’t take advantage of that as they prefer to keep their corners in one spot, but Baker could be a slot corner right away with the ability to move to the outside down the road.
