23. Houston Texans: Dalton Risner, OT, Kansas State

There were a lot of issues in the Houston Texans playoff loss at home during the Wild Card Round. Their offense had a hard time figuring out what the Colts were trying to do to them and they spent the entire game checking the ball down. When they did try and dial up a deep pass, there was no time for Deshaun Watson to allow his wideouts to get deep.

All season long, the offensive line was a problem for the Texans and in their biggest game of the season, it came back to haunt them. They simply have to do something moving forward because they can’t continue to throw their line out there and expect to be able to compete against elite teams.

This offseason, don’t be surprised if they make some free agent signings as well as dedicate plenty of draft stock. Here, they use their first pick on the line and Dalton Risner is their choice. The Kansas State lineman is listed as a tackle, but some have him projected as an interior blocker in the NFL. The Texans can use either so he will just have to come in and find a spot to get plugged into.
