33. Arizona Cardinals: J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford

After landing themselves the best defensive end — and overall prospect in the draft — at No. 1, the Arizona Cardinals now decide to get Josh Rosen some weapons to work with as they hope to expand the passing game.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside had 1,059 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final season for Stanford and would give Rosen a big-bodied target to go along with Christian Kirk, who can excel in the slot moving forward.

34. Indianapolis Colts (via N.Y. Jets): Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson

A failed drug test hurt Dexter Lawrence’s stock and pushes him out of the first round in this 2019 NFL Mock Draft. But it doesn’t push him far out. Lawrence is too talented for someone not to take a chance on him, even with the news that came out just before their playoff game.

The Indianapolis Colts added a lot of talent to their defense in 2018, and the second round was really good to them. Here they again strike gold by taking the big nose tackle.

35. Oakland Raiders: Damien Harris, RB, Alabama

Youth is better at running back, and eventually, even Jon Gruden will understand that. With the Raiders needing to re-tool their entire roster, they select Damien Harris out of Alabama with their pick at No. 35.

Harris didn’t top 1,000 yards in 2018, which was surprising considering he did so in both 2016 and 2017. Still, he’s one of the better running backs in the class and Oakland gives him a shot to be the man here.

36. San Francisco 49ers: Lukas Denis, S, Boston College

The secondary overhaul in San Francisco continues here. The 49ers took Greedy Williams in the first and now they add a safety in Lukas Denis. The Boston College product was a ballhawk and really showed out in 2017 with seven picks. The Niners can use someone like him to get their offense some easy points via a short field.
