The Dallas Cowboys travel to Los Angeles to face the No. 2 seeded Rams in the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs, with the winner stamping their ticket to the NFC Championship Game.

The spot to be on Saturday night is at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where the Los Angeles Rams host the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round of the NFC Playoffs as the Cowboys are coming in off a Wild Card Round win over the Seattle Seahawks.

These two teams have not faced each other this season, and the last time they played each other was last season when the Rams defeated the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium by a 35-30 score. Overall, the Cowboys lead the series at 17-16 according to The Football Data Base, as this will also be the ninth time the two teams will face each other in the playoffs with both teams winning four meetings.

This year’s divisional game features two strong defenses and the top running backs in all of the NFL in Ezekiel Elliott of the Cowboys and Todd Gurley of the Rams. They were in the top three of rushing yardage leaders this season, with Elliott leading the NFL with 1,434 yards rushing and Gurley in third at 1,251 yards on the ground. Both running backs had 11 carries of 20-plus yards, but Gurley led the NFL with 17 rushing touchdowns, while Elliott had six.

The game will come down to more than just the running backs, as both teams also have top defensive linemen, including the Rams bringing Aaron Donald to the party with 20.5 sacks and Demarcus Lawrence having 10.5 sacks this season.

Both the Rams and Cowboys also have young quarterbacks with Jared Goff of the Rams passing for 32 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, while the Cowboys have Dak Prescott with 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The Cowboys are coming off a game where they won a battle with the Seahawks last Saturday night by a 24-22 score in the home playoff game. With that said, the Cowboys aren’t that great in road games this season, as they were 3-5 in the regular season when away from Arlington.
