After an exciting and upset-filled Wild Card Round, we make 20 bold predictions for the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs 2019.

If this past weekend of the NFL Playoffs 2019 is any indication of what to expect during the Divisional Round, football fans should be quite pleased with the set of four games that are scheduled to take place between Saturday and Sunday. From the Philadelphia Eagles looking for revenge against the New Orleans Saints to the Indianapolis Colts looking to pull off another major upset by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, the Divisional Round could very well top the Wild Card Round from an action perspective.

Not to mention, the most exciting battle of all may take place Saturday night when the Los Angeles Rams officially begin their playoff journey with what should be an epic battle in the NFC when they host the NFC East champions in the Dallas Cowboys. During their first playoff game, the Cowboys were able to hang on for the 24-22 win over the Seattle Seahawks after the defense did a phenomenal job of taking away the running game from Pete Carroll’s squad.

Does this mean Dallas will be able to find the same success against Los Angeles when it comes to stopping Todd Gurley? Normally, this would be one of those situations in which it would seem safe to assume that Gurley would find a way to be productive, but also keep in mind the Rams running back hasn’t played since Week 15 as a result of a minor knee injury.

Even if Gurley doesn’t look like his normal self, this matchup between Los Angeles and Dallas still seems to have the potential to be filled with plenty of scoring. Along with what to expect in this NFC showdown, here are 20 bold predictions over what to expect from the Divisional Round once the weekend arrives.
