Heading into the 2019 season, which head coaches around the NFL are treading on thin ice and deserve to have their jobs on the line?

Firing someone is never an easy task. But for coaching staffs in the NFL, it’s something that occurs for a handful of teams each and every offseason. This year was no different as eight teams will enter the 2019 season with a new person as their head coach. Each of these franchises will be hoping that their new guy in charge will be able to get the team back on the right track to success.

As many firings as there were this year, there actually could have been more. Some head coaches around the league are truly hanging on by a thread as they head into next season.

Of all the head coaches around the NFL, there are seven that will likely be fighting for their jobs in 2019. Two members of this group have even led their current teams to an appearance in the Super Bowl, but those times have since passed for their respective squads.

And sometimes, the past doesn’t matter a whole lot if a franchise hasn’t experienced success in awhile. In the NFL, it’s about winning in the past, the present and the future, and if a head coach isn’t doing that, his job should be hanging in the balance. So which seven head coaches around the league could be without a job once the 2019 season is all said and done?
