The defending Super Bowl champions and No. 6 seed, face the NFC’s No. 1 seed on Sunday afternoon in the Superdome. Can the Eagles pull off another upset?

In the world of the NFL, this is the best weekend of the year as the top eight teams in the league battle it out for the right to play in their respective conference championship. This weekend’s final game takes place on Sunday afternoon in New Orleans, when the NFC’s No. 1 seed, the New Orleans Saints, host the No. 6 seed and defending Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles are looking to pull off their second upset in a row as last week they went into Chicago and took down the third-seeded Bears. Practically no one outside of Philadelphia gave backup quarterback Nick Foles a chance to lead the Eagles to victory over Chicago’s nasty defense.

Well, in true Foles’ fashion, he led Philly to a game-winning score in the fourth quarter and the Bears missed a potential game-winning field goal and the Eagles were setting up for another improbable run deep into the postseason.

These two teams met back in Week 11 and the Saints obliterated the Eagles, 48-7, in a game where New Orleans’ quarterback Drew Brees clearly outplayed Philadelphia’s franchise passer, Carson Wentz. Just like one year ago, Wentz was injured late in the season, paving the way for Foles. Can Foles actually pull off the improbable yet again?
