It’s down to four teams in each conference as eight NFL teams look to reach Super Bowl LIII. How do the clubs rank from top to bottom these days?

It’s been called the best weekend of football when it comes to the NFL. There are only eight teams left vying for the latest edition of the Lombardi Trophy and the title of Super Bowl champion. The 2019 NFL Playoffs got underway last week when the field of 12 was pared down a bit. And home field advantage didn’t mean much last Saturday and Sunday as only the Dallas Cowboys came up victorious in their own building.

What makes the 2018 NFL Divisional Playoffs even more intriguing is that only one of these matchups, the Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints, is a rematch from the regular season. Sean Payton’s club clipped the Birds, 48-7, in Week 11 at the Superdome. So what will that mean late Sunday afternoon in the Crescent City?

This year’s Final 8 includes two franchises that have each won five Super Bowl titles as well as a club still looking for its first NFL title. And we will see a little postseason history when the Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams square off at the Coliseum on Saturday evening.

Keep in mind that the following rankings are based on each team’s current level of play. While some considerations is given to postseason history, the emphasis here is on how well each club is performing as of late. It all adds up to eight teams each capable of not only walking away with a victory this weekend but poised to capture a Super Bowl title.
