23. Isaiah Wynn, OT, New England Patriots

2018 Stats: N/A

Unfortunately, Isaiah Wynn missed the entire 2018 season after tearing his Achilles tendon in August during training camp. It was an unfortunate turn of events for a player who figured to bring considerable depth to the New England Patriots’ offensive line.

Prior to the injury, reports were generally positive about what he had shown at practice. Although he hadn’t yet carved out a starting role for himself, Wynn had worked his way into the rotation as a versatile depth piece capable of playing right tackle or one of the guard spots.

Having suffered the injury so early, Wynn should be good to go when OTAs get under way. At that point, the Patriots should look to him to serve in a key role along the front five — either as versatile depth or a starter. Chances are he would have stepped into a starting role at some point as a rookie had he stayed on the field.

For now, Wynn gets an incomplete. We’ll see what Year 2 holds for the former Georgia sensation, who should be an important building block for this Patriots franchise moving forward.

Grade: Incomplete
