20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State

The drama around the Pittsburgh Steelers seems to have finally hit its boiling point. We all saw it coming as this past year was full of noise. While a lot of fingers are being pointed at Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, there should be some who look at Ben Roethlisberger as well.

Big Ben started this offseason out by questioning the front office for drafting a quarterback for the second season in a row. He felt this was unnecessary, despite the fact that he’s been hinting about retirement which could leave the team in a bind if they don’t have someone ready to step in.

Later, he called out receiver James Washington publicly — and said he earned that right. The team backs this up with their actions as they allowed him to do so as well as staying quiet when he bashed them for their draft strategy. Now with Brown looking to be on the way out, there were also rumors that he and Roethlisberger had problems with one another.

To be fair, it’s not always the best approach to simply take the rumors as truth, but there’s a lot of smoke on this team. Perhaps they’ll get it all cleared up and move onto 2019 with a better outlook. They can help themselves do that with an influx of talent via the draft.

With this selection, they go out and add some premium talent for the secondary as they pick Amani Oruwariye out of Penn State. Once again, the Steelers go defense early and will elect to add offensive talent later on down the road.
