4. Secure a slot machine in the draft

First off, Cole Beasley has been an amazing player for the Dallas Cowboys. He’s been one of their better performers in the clutch as he’s secured countless grabs on third downs. He even had a career-highlight play to cap off a great comeback in Week 17 when he made an amazing catch for a touchdown on a fourth-and-long.

Having said all that, Beasley is about to be a free agent and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Dallas go younger — and cheaper — at the position. Doing so would aid them in locking up players like DeMarcus Lawrence, Amari Cooper, Byron Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, and Dak Prescott who are all needing new deals. With that core of young players on the rise, Dallas will have to make some tough decisions which could lead to the end of the Beasley era.

If so, they need to find someone in the draft who can replace him while costing significantly less. A couple of names to keep an eye on could be Andy Isabella from Massachusetts or possibly Hunter Renfrow who played at Clemson. Another late round prospect that could pique their interest is Penny Hart from Georgia State.

The 5-foot-8 Hart twice topped 1,000 yards for GSU, and also showed flashes as a punt returner. Dallas has gone youth all over the field and doing so here would be hard since Beasley is so beloved, but it could benefit them in the long run.
