15. Washington Redskins: Daniel Jones, QB, Duke

First off, the Washington Redskins deserve some recognition for competing better than expected at times during the 2018 season when seeing how nobody knew what to expect from this team once they decided to move on from Kirk Cousins at quarterback.

Acquiring Alex Smith to fill in for Cousins seemed like the best approach at the time for the Redskins when seeing how he was still playing some of his best football, but losing the veteran and Colt McCoy to injuries put this team in a tough spot.

One can only imagine how different things would have been if Smith didn’t suffer that gruesome injury, and with his future up in the air, Washington needs to address their need at the quarterback position, whether it seems fair or not.

Deep down, the Redskins knew this day would come sooner rather than later since Smith wasn’t getting any younger, and Daniel Jones seems like a name worth monitoring since there’s a good chance he will still be available in the middle of the first round.

There was a time in which some analysts believed that Jones could even go No. 1 in this year’s draft when looking at his body size and strength, so in a way this could end up being a steal for the Redskins if they were to consider the possibility.
