3. New York Jets: Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

Not long ago, the New York Jets established a reputation for having one of the league’s top defenses, although finding a quarterback to build the franchise around was a major issue.

Luckily, the Jets seem to finally have found a quarterback with potential in Sam Darnold after seeing the experience he was able to receive as a rookie in 2018, but also the team knows improving the defense will also be a major priority in the offseason.

Two years ago, New York struck gold in the first round of the draft when they were able to land former LSU star Jamal Adams, as the safety has already proven to be valuable by starting every game since his rookie season.

Of course, a player like Adams can only do so much on his own when it comes to the defense, and with New York sitting with the No. 3 pick in this year’s draft, Quinnen Williams deserves plenty of consideration.

With his explosiveness and pass-rusher abilities, the addition of Williams could result in the Jets having a much better chance of competing in the AFC East since New York needs all of the help possible just to have a fighting chance against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
