4. Oakland Raiders: Josh Allen, EDGE, Kentucky

When it comes to the biggest disappointments from the 2018 season, the Oakland Raiders rank right near the top of the list when seeing how the hiring of Jon Gruden was supposed to help them return to a competitive level from a few years ago, which was far from the case.

To top the frustration off, the Raiders would see the last of both Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper after both star players would be traded by the team, although it did help to see Oakland end up with three picks in the first round.

The fact that No. 4 will be the first of three picks on opening night of the draft shows Oakland will be in great position to take advantage of all the talent from this year’s class. And if Josh Allen happens to slip down to the Raiders, passing on the Kentucky linebacker could turn into a regrettable decision.

17 sacks in a single season for a linebacker is rare in college football, but this shows how valuable Allen was to the Wildcats on defense, and was one of the main reasons why Kentucky in general was one of the best teams in the country.

With his strength and speed off the edge, Allen is the kind of player Oakland needs to get their defense back to an elite level, especially with Mack no longer around.
