5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Clemson

Speaking of teams that ended up near the top of the list of disappointments, just when it seemed like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were finally heading in the right direction following a 2-0 start, their season quickly went downhill.

Once again, the offense not only failed to live up to expectations with all of the switching back and forth at quarterback, but the defense also failed to come through on their end.

For their first pick in April, the Buccaneers may not have any other choice but to focus on the defensive side of the football since that’s going to be their best chance of turning things around in 2019.

At least with the fifth overall pick, Tampa Bay will find themselves in great position to choose from plenty of talented players, one of which who happens to be Clelin Ferrell.

Seeing the role the defensive end had in helping Clemson take down Alabama in the National Championship to go along with his 11.5 sacks and 20 tackles for a loss on the year shows what Ferrell could add to a defense like the Buccaneers in need of a major impact player.

The Tigers have produced plenty of great players over the years, and Ferrell will soon be adding his name to that list if all goes smoothly during the transition to the NFL.
