6. New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

Sooner or later, the New York Giants will need to move on from Eli Manning at quarterback since the last couple of seasons have made it clear the veteran is holding back their offense, whether they want to admit it or not.

The good news is whenever the Giants do make the decision to move on, or if Manning makes the decision himself, the team’s next quarterback will be in great shape when looking at the weapons they will have to work with on offense.

While Odell Beckham Jr. has made a name for himself as one of the most dangerous receivers in the NFL when healthy, the addition of Saquon Barkley has put this offense in great shape for years to come.

After New York considered the possibility of drafting a quarterback in the first round a year ago, this time around could work out just as well, if not better.

Thanks to an unexpected season with the Buckeyes that resulted in 50 touchdown passes, Dwayne Haskins has watched his stock skyrocket over the last couple of months, and seems to have made the right decision in entering the draft.

Plenty of teams will be considering quarterbacks early on in the first round, and the thought of Haskins teaming up with the weapons the Giants would provide him should terrify any defense once he develops into the proper starter.
