7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Drew Lock, QB, Missouri

Just like the New York Giants, the Jacksonville Jaguars have an interesting decision on their hands this offseason when it comes to figuring out what the future holds for Blake Bortles at quarterback.

One year after appearing to be the answer for the Jaguars’ offense while almost helping the team reach the Super Bowl, Bortles took a major step back in 2018, and even lost the starting job at one point.

Even if the argument can be made that Jacksonville didn’t exactly do the best job at providing Bortles with the best receivers to work with on offense, the former first-round pick should have been able to find a way to produce when looking at all of that money he was making.

Eating the contract would be a tough pill to swallow for the Jaguars after Bortles received a three-year extension last year, but also this team can’t afford to go through another year like 2018.

If Jacksonville were to use the draft to find their next potential quarterback to build the franchise around, Drew Lock seems like a good fit.

Things like accuracy may be an issue for the Missouri product, but when seeing how Lock tossed 95 touchdown passes over the last three seasons, and limited his interception total to eight this past year shows why a team like the Jaguars would express interest.
