The top two seeds for the NFL Playoffs in each conference will each vie for a trip to Super Bowl LIII. How do these four teams stack up against one another?

Predictable? Perhaps. For the second time in four years, the top two seeds in each conference make up the NFL’s version of the final four. Last Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs handled the Indianapolis Colts, 31-13, and the Los Angeles Rams held off the Dallas Cowboys, 30-22.

On Sunday, the New England Patriots blew out the Los Angeles Chargers, 41-28, and the New Orleans Saints rallied to dethrone the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, 20-14.

Last weekend, all four winning clubs dominated their foes with the ground game and conversely, owned time of possession. But now these teams must face each other and when it comes to Sunday’s matchups, they are both rematches of games from earlier this season…and then some.

In Week 6 at Foxborough, the Patriots got a last-second field goal, knocked off the Chiefs, 43-30, and handed Andy Reid’s team its first loss of 2018 after a 5-0 start. Four weeks later in the Big Easy, the Saints held off the Rams, 45-35, defeating the eventual NFC West champions after Sean McVay’s club had won its first eight games.

So there are now just three meaningful football games remaining in the ’18 season. So how do these four clubs stack up in terms of the Power Rankings? Keep in mind that the following rankings are based on each team’s current level of play and not just last week’s performance.

Again, while some considerations are given to postseason history, the emphasis here is on how well each club is performing as of late.
