Taking a look at four different options that the Arizona Cardinals may pursue with the first overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft

The Arizona Cardinals have the luxury of getting their choice in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft. They have the first selections which means, they do not have to worry about anyone taking their top selection. However, they have, at least, four options with that first selection.

Arizona finished 8-8, in 2017. In the offseason, there was a coaching change and the Cardinals were fortunate to draft Josh Rosen as the future of the franchise. Expectations were running high until the regular season began.

High expectations were brutally crushed as the season progressed. Rosen was playing earlier than perhaps he should have. The Redbirds claimed the first overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft via their miserable 3-13 season.

The Cardinals are now on the clock. They have until April 25 to decide the fate of their No. 1 selection. Expect several teams to inquire about trading up with Arizona.

Arizona should explore all reason offers. But, they have the chance to get the one player that really fits their need in a position. They must look to maximize the potential in a first round player. With that, let’s look at the options they have at No. 1.
