Arizona could take Nick Bosa

Nick Bosa is the safe conservative selection at No. 1. Edge pass rushers seem to be on every team’s list of needs. Bosa fits that criteria. The media pundits seem to think Bosa is the right guy for the Cardinals. Newly hired defensive coordinator Vance Joseph might agree. The Redbirds will need to get after the NFC West opposing quarterbacks.

Last season, Chandler Jones led the team with 13 sacks. After Jones, there was a huge vast gap to Rodney Gunter and Robert Nkemdiche with 4.5 sacks each. Bosa would give Jones help from the opposite side in their pursuit of the quarterback.

Charlie Campbell of Walter Football gives his analysis of Bosa in his scouting report. He writes:

"…Bosa is good in pursuit and chase down backs outside of his gap… As a pro, Bosa looks like a potential franchise defensive player as an edge rusher capable of producing double-digit sack seasons on an annual basis. He could be a player who goes to multiple Pro Bowls and is one of the most dangerous pass-rushers in the NFL."

Bosa appears to be the safest choice at No. 1. He would be an immediate contributor, if Campbell is correct in his analysis.
