The 2019 Pro Bowls Skills Challenge adds life to the NFL All-Star week and, from dodgeball to precision passing, it’s a fun time. Here’s how to watch.

In its infancy, the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown was a way to try and add some more levity, fun and intrigue to the NFL All-Star week. It certainly did that, but there were still ways that they could improve the events. For the 2019 rendition of the sideshow, though, they’ve done that and the result should be a great deal of fun in Orlando.

Some of the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown events that will be broadcast on Thursday night will be familiar, most notably the always popular dodgeball event. What’s more, the Gridiron Gauntlet — a pseudo-Ninja Warrior course — will return. However, the real news is the new events and twists that will be added this year.

The first new event at the 2019 Pro Bowl Skills Showdown will be the 40-yard splash. Players will work to fill up a dunk tank with water, then try to hit a target with a football and drop an opposing team member in a dunk tank. There will also be non-quarterbacks competing in the Precision Passing competition in 2019 while there will also be the Best Hands competition as quarterbacks and wide receivers must complete certain types of catches to complete the competition.

And if you’re wondering who will be competing at the 2019 Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, we’ve got you covered.

For the AFC, the players competing will be as follows: Jamal Adams, James Conner, Eric Ebron, Myles Garrett, Andrew Luck, Von Miller, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Denzel Ward, Deshaun Watson and Kyle Williams. In the NFC, the roster turns out like so: Saquon Barkley, Mike Evans, Akiem Hicks, Cameron Jordan, Ryan Kerrigan, George Kittle, Adam Thielen, Mitchell Trubisky, Bobby Wagner, Russell Wilson.

With Jim Kelly and DeMarcus Ware captaining the AFC and the duo of Emmitt Smith and Brian Urlacher doing the same for the NFC, the Pro Bowl Skills Showdown should be massively enjoyable to watch.
