Here are 20 potential MVP candidates for Super Bowl 53 when the New England Patriots take on the Los Angeles Rams.

In a matter of days, Super Bowl 53 will officially get underway when the New England Patriots square off against the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta for the chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Based off what football fans saw in the Conference Championship games in which both contests happened to go to overtime, this year’s Super Bowl should be filled with plenty of entertainment once again on both sides of the football.

While the Patriots are quite familiar with playing this time of year since this will be Tom Brady’s ninth Super Bowl appearance, this is new territory for Sean McVay and the Rams.

Two yeas ago, Los Angeles received some criticism for their decision to make McVay the youngest head coach in NFL history since they believed there were plenty of other strong candidates worth considering, but nobody is questioning the decision anymore.

Watching the Rams quickly emerge into a strong Super Bowl contender in such a short period of time has truly been amazing to witness, but even McVay knows Sunday’s game against the Patriots will be unlike any challenge he or the team has ever faced.

One can only imagine the high level of intensity that will be on display during a game like this, and what makes Super Bowl 53 even more exciting to think about is all of the potential players who could easily take home MVP honors from both Los Angeles and New England.
