12. Robert Woods

After watching Goff struggle the way he did as a rookie in 2016, the Rams made it a priority the following season to make sure their beloved quarterback received the necessary weapons to work with on offense to succeed.

During free agency, Los Angeles wasted little time convincing Robert Woods to come on board, and while some fans weren’t thrilled over the move at the time since he never showed the skills of a top receiver before with the Buffalo Bills, those fans are quite happy now.

Looking back, Woods deserves to be viewed as one of the most underrated signings from free agency during the 2017 offseason since the argument can be made he would be the top target on a few offenses across the NFL.

In fact, this season marked the first time in his career that Woods crossed the 1,000-yard receiving mark, and since the receiver can be used on running plays as well, don’t be surprised if McVay tries to spice things up for him in the Super Bowl.

Seeing how Woods can be used in multiple ways on offense, this makes him that much more dangerous on offense, and could be useful when it comes to attempting to catch the Patriots’ defense off guard.
