9. Rob Gronkowski

Between all of the trade rumors along with the concerns surrounding his inability to stay healthy, this year was one of those seasons in which nobody knew what to expect from Rob Gronkowski with the Patriots.

Numbers wise, Gronkowski may not be dominating as much in the receiving game, but the AFC Championship was the perfect example of just how much of a threat he can be when on top of his game.

Not to mention, New England has also benefitted from Gronkowski stepping up in the blocking department when he hasn’t been needed as much in the passing game, showing just how much of a team player he can be.

After seeing what it took to take down the Kansas City Chiefs when he was targeted 11 times by Brady, Gronkowski could be in for another heavy workload on offense since Los Angeles has been playing better as of late on the defensive side of the football.

If this happens to be the case, Gronkowski will be ready for whatever challenge happens to be thrown in his direction. As the rest of the NFL has learned the hard way throughout Gronkowski’s career, the tight end can be quite difficult to tackle when he gets the football in his hands, so the Rams better be ready.
