19. Phillip Dorsett

To say Phillip Dorsett never lived up to the first-round hype after the Indianapolis Colts selected the wideout in the 2015 NFL Draft would be a huge understatement, but at least he seems to have found a comfortable home as a member of the Patriots.

Back when the Colts were dealing with issues at quarterback as a result of Andrew Luck’s shoulder, Dorsett was one of the players sent to the Patriots as part of the deal for Jacoby Brissett.

Numbers wise, Dorsett hasn’t always been the most exciting and consistent player for New England in the passing game, but he”s always been one of those receivers who could randomly come up big out of nowhere.

Just look at how Dorsett has put together a surprise streak of three games in a row with a trip to the end zone, with the latest two coming in the Divisional Round and AFC Championship during the playoffs.

Since most of the attention by the Rams’ defense will be focused on the whereabouts of players like Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, Dorsett could benefit from seeing additional passes thrown in his direction from Brady.

If this happens to be the case, Dorsett could become a sneaky candidate for MVP honors if the Patriots are victorious over the Rams.
