18. Cory Littleton

Despite all of the talent added on both sides of the football during the offseason, the linebacker position was still a concern for Los Angeles heading into the 2018 season, although there was hope for certain individuals stepping up.

Take a look at Cory Littleton for example, who went from making little impact on defense for the Rams over the first two years of his career to starting all 16 games this past season while making a case for being one of the top defenders on the team.

As impressive as it was to watch Littleton record three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and four sacks during the regular season, the linebacker came through with one of his best performances in the NFC Championship by leading the team with 11 tackles.

Against the Patriots, there’s a good chance Littleton will be in for a similar performance since the Rams are going to have their hands full trying to keep all of the weapons on New England’s offense in check.

Recording that many tackles most likely won’t put Littleton in position to compete for MVP honors, but if he were to find a way to be responsible for forcing a turnover or two, this could certainly help his case.
