14. Ndamukong Suh

Football fans can make whatever comments they want about Ndamukong Suh being a dirty player at times, but it’s tough to deny how much of an impact he makes on the defensive line for a team like the Rams.

Back when the Miami Dolphins decided to release the veteran defensive tackle, Los Angeles seemed like a long shot destination since Suh was going to be demanding a high salary, and the team had yet to pay Aaron Donald, who had been fighting for a contract since last season.

Convincing Suh to come on board for a one-year, $14 million deal was one of the best things to happen to the Rams in the offseason since his presence on the line with Donald sounded like an absolute nightmare for opponents.

Before anyone points out the fact that Suh only recorded 4.5 sacks during the regular season, and try to make the case the move wasn’t worth it for Los Angeles, keep in mind how much his presence helped Donald put together his best season after finishing with 20.5 sacks.

Even more exciting, Suh is coming off one of his better games in the NFC Championship in which he managed to sack Drew Brees 1.5 times. Now, it’s up to Suh to make sure he applies that same kind of pressure on Brady, which unfortunately is always easier said than done.
