21. Seattle Seahawks: D.K. Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss

Tyler Lockett had a really good season for the Seattle Seahawks. The fourth-year wideout had career highs in receptions (57), yards (965), yards per catch (16.9) and touchdowns (10). Even with that success, he’s not the prototypical No. 1 receiver — a role usually occupied by Doug Baldwin.

However, as Locket was on the rise, Baldwin had his lowest reception total since 2013, lowest yardage since 2012, and just five touchdowns. Part of the reason for Baldwin’s dip could be his age, as he turned 30 early this season for the ‘Hawks.

That could mean it’s time to start looking for his replacement. One possible suitor comes in here as they land Ole Miss wideout D.K. Metcalf. The big-play wideout has more size than both Baldwin and Lockett — 6-4, 225 pounds — but can still get downfield.

Metcalf suffered a neck injury that ended his final season prematurely, but he’s been fine in recent medical checks. As long as everything continues to look good, he’s worthy of a first-round pick.

For Seattle, the question will be if they can fully utilize him. Their downfall in the 2018 playoffs was their reliance on the run game. Despite having Russell Wilson — and a good game from both Baldwin and Lockett — they kept putting the ball in the hands of Chris Carson. They need to alter some of their philosophies going forward and a talent like Metcalf may help with that.
