9. Donald gets Brady for three sacks

Rewarding Aaron Donald with one of the largest contracts in NFL history before Week 1 was easily one of the best decisions the Rams could have to make sure he’s going to be around for the long run.

Prior to the start of the 2018 season, Donald was already viewed as one of the top defensive players in the NFL, but the former Pittsburgh star found a way to elevate his game to a whole new level this year by finishing with 20.5 sacks.

Despite failing to record a single sack over the first couple of games, Donald eventually came around, and took advantage of playing alongside his new teammate in Ndamukong Suh, as the thought of these two lining up on the opposite side is a nightmare for any quarterback.

All season, New England’s offensive line has done a phenomenal job at making sure Tom Brady receives the necessary protection each game. And while Bill Belichick will look to come up with a solid strategy to keep Donald in check, this may not be enough.

Donald has made it clear just how special of a defensive star he truly is, and no matter which players the Patriots try to put in his way, he’s still going to find ways to get to Brady.
