6. Michel records less than 50 rushing yards

Remember all of the critics who were all over the Patriots for using a first-round pick on Sony Michel last April? Turns out, New England seemed to know exactly what they were doing after watching the former Georgia star come through big as a rookie, especially in the postseason.

The fact that Michel has five rushing touchdowns in two playoff games shows how valuable the rookie has been on offense for the Patriots during his first season. But despite topping 100+ rushing yards in three of the last four games as well, Michel could find it tough to be productive against the Rams’ defense.

For most of the regular season, Los Angeles was awful at stopping the run, and seemed like they were going to be in for tough times in the playoffs when facing some of the best running backs in the league.

Instead, the Rams have done a phenomenal job at making the necessary adjustments to make sure they did a better job at stopping the run, and it paid off in a big way since it helped them reach the Super Bowl.

After keeping Ezekiel Elliott along with the duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara in check, Los Angeles should be able to do the same with Michel.
