Super Bowl 53: 20 Bold predictions for Patriots vs. Rams

4. Goff goes for 400+ yards, four touchdown passes
About three years ago, the Rams decided it would be worth risking a future first-round pick to move up in the 2016 NFL Draft to land Jared Goff at No. 1, and the rest is history.
Despite a rough rookie campaign in which he failed to win a single start in seven attempts, Goff has been one of the players who has flourished the most under Sean McVay, and watching him earn a trip to the Super Bowl this early was pretty unexpected, yet truly amazing.
The fact that Goff only has one touchdown pass this postseason, and Los Angeles still managed to reach the Super Bowl shows just how special of an offense he’s part of, whether it involves Todd Gurley in the backfield or all the talent at wide receiver.
In a game like this, there’s a good chance that New England will be focusing most of their attention on making sure they stop Todd Gurley in the ground game. If this turns out to be the case, Goff could be relied on to help get the offense most of their production through the air.
Luckily, Goff has plenty of weapons he can rely on, whether it happens to be Brandin Cooks or Robert Woods, so there’s no reason for concern over failing to produce.
