28. San Francisco 49ers

After ending the 2017 season on one of the hottest notes possible, expectations were high for the San Francisco 49ers this past year, and many believed with Jimmy Garoppolo running the show, they could even be a surprise Super Bowl contender.

Unfortunately, Garoppolo’s season was cut short early on after suffering a torn ACL, making it tough for the 49ers to recover the rest of the way after they would go on to finish the season with just four wins.

Assuming that everything goes well over the next couple of months during his recovery process, San Francisco should feel confident in Garoppolo being able to return to his old ways.

Best part is, as tough as it was to watch the 49ers at times this past season, their offense did show plenty of potential with some of the younger stars, meaning Garoppolo should be able to take advantage once he returns.

Right away, George Kittle comes to mind after the tight end became a fantasy football savior by catching 88 passes for 1,377 yards to go along with five touchdowns. If Kittle managed to finish with these kind of numbers without Garoppolo, just imagine the kind of results he’s going to have once the 49ers quarterback is healthy enough to return to action.
