The New England Patriots just won their record-tying sixth Super Bowl, but which players for them and the Los Angeles Rams failed to show up on Sunday.

Now that we sat through three and a half hours of one of the most boring Super Bowls in NFL history, it’s time to start criticizing the teams and players. Believe me when I say I take special joy in this. We waited all year long for this game and it turned out to be a total disappointment, especially when compared to the past two Super Bowls.

In a game that was a total letdown, there were plenty of players who failed to make impacts. We’ll get to all of those, but I guess I should congratulate the New England Patriots on their 13-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The win gives New England a record-tying six Super Bowls, matching the Pittsburgh Steelers. That being said, if the Patriots were going to tie one of the greatest records in NFL history, they could have done it in a better game!

Compared to last year’s Super Bowl, the offenses struggled couldn’t get into a rhythm. The Patriots did finish the game with over 400 total yards, but you couldn’t tell that from watching the game.

The Rams finished with just 260 total yards in a game that Sean McVay and Jared Goff will probably spend the rest of their careers trying to forget. The Rams offense never did get a foothold. On third downs they went 3-13 while the Patriots hardly fared better, going 3-12.

That being said, this is a fair warning: a lot of the players on this list will be from the offenses. I’m not saying the defenses played great, but the offenses were so terrible that it’s hard to not acknowledge just how bad some of the players performed. Tom Brady will not be appearing on this list, despite turning in one a sloppy performance. There are more pressing disappointing performances to discuss. McVay won’t be appearing either since this is solely a players list.
