Here are three free agents that the Arizona Cardinals should sign for 2019

The Arizona Cardinals have made moves to improve the future since the 2018 season ended. They hired Kliff Kingsbury to lead the team, but still have to upgrade some positions. There are three free agents that stand out as being worth consideration for the upcoming 2019 season.

The Cardinals have re-signed Larry Fitzgerald for another season. Fitzgerald, the ageless wonder, is the perfect guy to lead the young receiving corps. Just imagine how Kingsbury will incorporate Fitz in his air raid attack.

Patrick Peterson recently recommitted to the Redbirds. Peterson is one of the NFL’s elite cover corners. He is ranked as the eight best according to Pro Football Focus‘ year-end rankings of players at the position.

Free agency begins at 4:00 p.m. ET on March 13. The Cardinals have plenty of salary cap space to pursue some player who would help the team. Currently, according to Spotrac, the Cardinals will have $49 million to work with.

Although the Cardinals have the first pick in the draft, free agency gives an insight into which direction the Cardinals might go in the draft. Of course, the question remains whether Kingsbury and Josh Rosen will mesh. Regardless, they have a few spots that need to be upgraded.
