Tyler Patmon, CB

Tyler Patmon should be signed by Arizona. Patmon has spent the last two seasons in Jacksonville. He has played the nickel corner mostly and has started for A.J. Bouye twice. Originally, Patmon was signed by Dallas in 2014 as an undrafted free agent. He played 22 games in Dallas with a 58-yard interception return for a touchdown to his credit during that time. He finished 2016 in Miami.

Patmon signed a two-year deal with Jacksonville in 2017. He becomes an unrestricted free agent in March. He is a fly-under-the-radar treasure due to his wealth of experience the last two seasons.

He has shared the same secondary with Jalen Ramsey and Bouye, which is considered one of the top cornerback tandems in the NFL. He would be a good complement to Peterson.

Last summer, during Ramsey’s absence from training camp, Patmon seized the opportunity to shine. Mike Kaye of firstcoastnews.com reported the following:

"Through three training camp practices, Patmon has been a pass breakup machine, producing big plays during each individual session. On Friday, Patmon capitalized on a miscommunication between quarterback Blake Bortles and wide receiver Donte Moncrief, as he collected an interception for a would-be pick-six."

Patmon is worthy of consideration due to his work ethic. Arizona would probably offer a two-year deal in the $10-$15 million range. Patmon would be a good investment.
