Seattle Seahawks: 7-Round 2019 mock draft in early February
By Cory Kinnan
Round 5, Pick 21: Keelan Doss, WR, UC Davis
The Seahawks, barring any trades that involve other team’s Day 3 picks, find their last pick near the end of the fifth round. The team has gotten elite production out of speedster and 2015 first-round pick Tyler Lockett, tallying nearly 1,000 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns with only 57 catches.
The team also has reliable veteran and a favorite target of Wilson’s, Doug Baldwin under contract for two more seasons as well. However the team could be in the market for a big-bodied receiver late in the draft.
Keelan Doss enters the draft process after a productive senior season at UC Davis, where he tallied a staggering 118 catches in 2018 while also recording 1,345 yards and nine touchdowns. He parlayed this production into a trip to Mobile for the Senior Bowl, where he stood out among other receivers such as Terry McLaurin and Andy Isabella.
Entering the Combine with momentum, the 6-3, 200-pound small school prospect already sees his name being called midway through day-three, and could sneak into the fourth round with some athletic testing later this month in Indianapolis; Seattle gets a productive big-bodied receiver with their last pick in the draft by nabbing Doss at the end of the fifth here.
